‌110kV cables‌ are high-voltage power transmission systems insulated with ‌cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE)‌. Their primary applications include:

  1. ‌Urban Power Grid Transmission and Distribution‌:Deployed in urban core areas to transmit electricity over medium-to-long distances, particularly in densely populated modern cities with high power demand;
  2. ‌Connecting Power Plants and Substations:Serve as backbone transmission lines between power generation facilities (e.g., thermal, hydroelectric, and renewable energy plants) and 110kV substations, enabling efficient large-capacity energy transfer.
  3. ‌Integration with Small Substations:Used as feeder cables in 35kV–110kV substations to interconnect substations with local distribution networks.
  4. ‌Reducing Energy Loss:Engineered with ‌copper/aluminum conductors‌ (cross-sectional area: 50–2000 mm²) and XLPE insulation to minimize transmission losses over long distances, improving grid efficiency.
